Project context
Schoolab Vietnam has launched its first early-stage startup Program in May 2019, animated different corporate training track and co-organized Hanoi Innovation Summit. In order to support our constant growth in the region, we are looking for a Business Developer - Project Manager to identify needs and insights with potential corporate and academic partners / clients and work hand-in-hand with the Managing Director to design and launch new corporate programs early 2020, in Hô-Chi-Minh-City.

Job Description

  • Support and lead the startup recruitment strategy with an impactful communication and organization of events
  • Provide support for startups, coach and challenge startups, coordinate the network of mentors and experts, organize the major events of the program
  • Organize all the workshops and the office hours for the startups
  • Be proactive to better the program: regularly survey startups to understand their needs
  • Create partnership with partners in order to ensure the visibility of the program and the startups
  • Find experts and mentors willing to help and advice the entrepreneurs in their growth
  • Build a community spirit between the entrepreneurs
  • Manage the invoicing and the accounting of the program
  • Social media strategy: in coordination with your manager you will animate Schoolab Asia's Facebook page by creating strategic content to highlight our activities and the ecosystem

Additionnal information

  • Local contract: full-time job or internship of 6 month
  • Starting date : ASAP
  • Salary : TBD according to profile

Preferred Experience

  • Fresh graduates to 2 years of experience in: startup ecosystem, incubators, accelerators, community oriented organizations, consulting, business development, content development or marketing, in both English and Vietnamese
  • Knowledge of Vietnamese startup ecosystem
  • You are able to find the right places (accelerators, meetups...) to meet and mobilize the right people (Ecosystem builder)
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit. You are curious, resourceful and autonomous. You like to learn. You like to "open windows when doors are closed"
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, you like to be in contact with people and you are not afraid to go towards them - You know how to gather people around you and make them want to get involved

Extra but not mandatory assets:

  • Good knowledge of Adobe creative suite and tools: Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop & Premiere Pro (or IMovie).
  • You are creative and you know how to produce visual content (short video, facebook posts, etc.)
  • You are fluent in English
